We received notice yesterday, that our gym, cafeteria, and kitchen have been given the "all clear" for use! We know that this brings joy to our many students who purchase lunch on a daily basis. We would like to thank our parents and the Ansbach community for their continued support during these past few weeks.
Hot lunches will begin again on Tuesday, February 19. I have attached this week's lunch menu for your use.

School will resume Monday morning, January 28 at 8 a.m. as usual.
Do you plan on driving your child to school, Monday? If so…
There will be no access to the gym/cafeteria, kitchen, nor parking lot. Therefore, if you bring your child to school you will need to drop him/her off at the front gate or you may park at the Barton Barracks parking lot and walk your children over.
School buses will pick up children as usual both before and after school.
Children who purchase lunch or receive free or reduced lunch will be provided with a USDA approved bag lunch by AAFES. We expect this to continue for a week minimum.
This week, Rainbow was scheduled to have PE classes, instead we will be hosting Art and Host Nation.

Is the school safe?
Since the fire was contained, Ansbach DPW states there is no concern with faculty and students reentering the building come Monday morning.
When will there be PE again? We are working with the garrison to find an alternate location for PE the next week.
What was the cause? When will the school be back to normal? What will it cost to fix?
At this time no cause has been given for the fire, there is no cost estimate, and no date has been given as to when the gym/kitchen area will be able to be used again.
