School Facilities

Located in a beautiful wooded section of Ansbach, Germany, Rainbow School was built in 1986. It is a two-story building with a small central garden which is the home to a variety of plants and to small baby black birds that are born there most every spring.

In addition to the central section of the building, there are two one-story wings projecting at "four o'clock" and "eight o'clock" angles as one looks at the building. Its large classrooms are bright and conducive to a good learning environment.

There is a large media center with approximately 10,000 books, an up-to-date computer lab with Windows NT computers, a gym/cafeteria multi-purpose room, a parent center, custom-build early childhood rooms, an art room, and a music room.

Rainbow has two playgrounds, and many nice walking paths wind through the woods surrounding the school.
